Message Bought my '94 NA with 60k on the odometer and am now approaching 150k. I love getting in the car every day. For a good many of those years, I have had about a 20-mile commute each way, and the Z is comfortable and fun to drive back and forth to work.

I use tires appropriate to the daily driving; I sacrifice some handling ability by not having sticky Z-rated tires, but I pay less and use them longer. We have mild winters so snow is not really an issue. On the extremely rare occasion that we have enough snow to accumulate on the road, I avoid driving the Z if possible, and am very careful if it's unavoidable.

As for maintenance issues, the Z has served me well. I've had the alternator rebuilt, and I spent a decent chunk of change a couple years ago tracking down an air conditioning issue. But otherwise it's been rock solid.
